Helfrich's Firefish (Nemateleotris helfrichi)

Helfrich's Firefish are deepwater firefish from the northwest Pacific.  They're rarely imported because of their depth of location.  N.helfrichi are often observed in pairs.  The aquarium originally housed a pair before the male found a 1/2" opening at the top of the tank where it jumped out through.

Johnson's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus johnsoni)

Johnson's Fairy Wrasse is amongst the rarest fairy wrasses imported.  This species is endemic Kwajalein atoll of the Marshall Island Chain - a restricted island to collectors and recreational divers.  The only way these fishes are exported are via carry-on baggage.  C.johnsoni is one of the smallest fairy wrasses (2.5" max size), found amongst thick groves of Hamelida sp.
